A message from our President
As we head into our 8th month of operating tours and excursions in the Bahamas, I thought I would take a moment to express how impressed I am with our team and our offerings.
Captain Daron and his first mates, primarily Craig and Grouper, have done a wonderful job sharing the real Bahamas with our guests. Our tours of Exuma get fantastic reviews on multiple platforms, including TripAdvisor and Facebook.
Most of our guests also will interact directly with our operations manager Joanne and office manager Heather Joy. These two are the driving force behind our bookings and their knowledge and experience of our tours is usually the deciding factor in purchasing for those on the fence. A large portion of our customers also get to meet Joanne, as she regularly greets the boat either departing for or returning from the Exuma Cays.
We also have an internal rating system for guests who have booked directly through us, which has a consistent 5-star rating for our Exuma excursions, harbour tours, and custom charters.
I have shared below a handful of our reviews. I encourage you as a potential (or returning!) customer to take a look at our Facebook and Tripadvisor pages and after your experience to provide us with any feedback you may have about Harbour Safaris!

“Best Part of the Bahamas”
We did the day trip to swim with the pigs and it ended up being our favorite part of the entire vacation.
The water on our way to the first island was really choppy so it made for a rough ride, but that was an adventure in itself. I do recommend that you pay attention to the warnings about bad backs or injuries though, because you really do get tossed around a bit. The view during the entire boat trip was to die for though. Staring at that crystal blue water never gets old.
The first stop was to feed the iguanas. This was hilarious. They come running at you looking for grapes and they really are kind of cute. The island we stop at for this has an incredible view and the pretties teal colored water.
The lunch stop was really cool. The yacht club bar that we ate at was the most “Bahamian-style” experience we had all week. I loved the open walls right on the water, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the conch po boy or catch of the day. The nurse sharks that are swimming around are really cool as well.
Finally, the main attraction…swimming with the pigs! Once they hear the boat they come running, jump in the water, and swim toward you waiting for food. They are much bigger than I expected but are still so cute!
I cannot write a true review about Harbour Safaris without a shout out to the first mate and captain. Craig, the first mate, did a fantastic job pointing things out and keeping the entire tour “chill” and exactly what we wanted. It didn’t feel touristy which was amazing. The islands were not packed with people, we were actually the only ones there.
I highly recommend this tour if you have the day to spend, but be prepared to be exhausted when you get back. That much time in the sun and on the water really takes all the energy you have!
Swimming Pigs Day Excursion
The beauty of the Exuma islands speak for themselves, but our 1st mate, Craig, made the trip extra special with his positive, vibrant personality and honest love for the Bahamas. – Amanda
Harbour Safaris day excursion to Exuma was fantastic. They were very professional and knowledgeable. We would recommend them to anyone in Nassau who is looking for a great day of adventure. – Fred
We had a wonderful time on this excursion!! The boat ride was fun (fast & bumpy), the crew was great. We stopped to see and feed the iguanas first, then to Staniel Cay for lunch – we were able to see and touch the nurse sharks that were swimming in the area. After lunch we saw the pigs and fed them. Then to a small island where we spent some time on the beach and saw fish, a stingray, a starfish and collected shells. Overall, the trip was one of the highlights of our week in Nassau. I would definitely recommend it! – Valerie
We also regularly post short reviews in our Guest Log Book!
